I don’t get it, genuinely! Can people not support their country? If we have lived here all our lives and our ancestors before us, who are these people? Why can’t we fly our flag? The Irish flag flies very high in both my children’s schools and I’d be disgusted if they did not. Why are foreigners having a say in our history???

They're all jumping on the bandwagon about weaponising the flag. Every flag has been weaponised in wars. It's been held upfront in charges, in fact a flag bearer was the most dangerous job during wars. But it was done with pride!

The simple fact of the matter is it should be the exact opposite way around! In Ireland it should be frowned upon to fly any flags besides the Tricolour! Including the Ukrainian flag, the Palestinian Hamas Flag or any other flag . This is éiRe !
