I had friends who each moved into their own apartments, but kept the original house. The kids continued to live in the house while mom and dad alternated weeks where they lived in the house. They were able to maintain some normalcy for the kids while the parents could each get a new start.

What threw me off you don’t trust him to parent his children but you trusted enough him to marry and have his children! Yes he cheated awful but that does not mean he is unfit parent unfortunately

You can do it on your own mama! My situation is a little different. Went to bed married and woke up widowed. Thrown into the solo parent life overnight. But I took care of my own mental health and made a life for me and my kids. You are absolutely right, we need to take care of ourselves as women and that will make a happier and better life for our kids.
