@frageenawia: “Have you ever wondered… why are we alive? Why do we die? The Qur’an gives us the answer in the simplest, yet most profound way. Allah says in Surah Al-Mulk — ‘He created death and life to test you, which of you is best in deeds.’ (67:2) So life and death are not accidents. They are a test. Every breath you take, every choice you make, is part of that test. And Allah tells us in Surah Adh-Dhariyat — ‘I did not create jinn and mankind except to worship Me.’ (51:56) But worship in Islam is not only prayer and fasting. It is living with purpose — being honest, being kind, being grateful, and submitting your heart to Allah. And then, there is death. Allah reminds us: ‘Every soul will taste death, and We test you with good and evil as trial; and to Us you will be returned.’ (21:35) Death is not the end. It’s the beginning of eternity. A doorway, where your test results are revealed. And Allah reminds us — this world is temporary: ‘This worldly life is nothing but amusement and diversion; but the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah.’ (6:32) So, why are we alive? To worship. To be tested. To prepare for eternity. Why do we die? To return to the One who created us. Life is short, but the Hereafter is forever. The question is… how will you spend your life, and what will you take to meet Allah?” .
