You’ll need: - 5-6 thin slices heirloom tomato, salted - 5-6 slices mozzarella cheese, torn - fresh basil leaves - 1 slice well toasted sourdough bread, torn - 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp. olive oil - 1 tsp. sumac - 1/2 tsp. black pepper + salt - optional topping: some crunchy za’atar! On a large plate, whisk together the balsamic, olive oil, sumac, black pepper, and salt. Top with tomato slices, then mozzarella pieces, basil, sourdough bread, and za’atar.
