@urbexvaultapp: The Valentin submarine bunker was a massive reinforced concrete shelter built by Nazi Germany during World War II, located near Bremen. Its purpose was to assemble the new Type XXI “Elektroboote” submarines - advanced U-boats designed to turn the tide of the Battle of the Atlantic. . Construction began in 1943 and relied heavily on forced laborers and concentration camp prisoners, working under brutal conditions. Thousands died during its construction. . The bunker was designed to be bomb-proof, with walls and ceilings up to 7 meters thick, covering an area of over 35,000 m². Submarines would have been brought in on the river Weser, assembled inside the bunker in sections, and then launched directly into the water. . However, the war ended before the project could be finished. Not a single submarine was ever completed inside. . Today, Valentin stands as a memorial and historical site, a reminder of both the scale of Nazi engineering - and the human suffering behind it. . . . . -some clips may be AI generated- 🚫Do not attempt !!!🚫 #urbexvault #urbanexploration #urbex #urbexlife #urbexpeople #urbanexploring #urbanadventures #urbexworld #urbexcommunity #urban #trip #tip #guide
