I think a piece of nuance that’s missing here is that a lot of women (not all) will be or plan on providing that lifestyle (luxury, travel, work/life balance) on their own. I think the standard is if I can provide this for myself I want my man to be on the same level, or pretty damn close.

I don’t think everyone wants to be a millionaire. Most people would be okay with $300k and 2 kids. This is definitely attainable and with a good balance. It’s okay for people to be sure about what they can have ❤️

Preach, my husband was on the road for a decade. I never thought about having a “successful” man but you are right as women we don’t think about the sacrifice men have to make to reach their dreams. You have to be loyal to the man not the lifestyle to survive it.

That’s exactly the point. No kids, he’s away from me 65-70% of the time and I get to indulge in my passion projects. It’s a dynamic for a certain type of relationship for sure!

It’s what you prioritize. My boss is a VP and takes his kids to their games, coaches teams, and seems very active. I don’t know how his kids feel, but from the outside he seems very involved.

Definitely. I actually don’t date much because often, the men want ME to log out, not look at my phone, lean in. And I just cannot. My mom doesn’t even understand that I cannot put my phone on DND bc I have staff in a whole other country. I have to be “ON” and available for staff, guests, brands, and clients. And many people don’t understand that.

I don’t think this is all the way true. Yes in the early years it’s purely hard work but anyone who is smart will invest in passive income streams that frees up a lot of their time. So they’re able to have the luxury life and still be present with family.

Personally as a woman who had a mother that was single raising 3 kids working two jobs I think we want the "wealthy lifestyle" because who doesn't, but when it comes to having a family as in adding kids we really want the time. Actually experiencing my mother never having enough time is not what I envision for my kids mom or dad.
