I feel y’all! With my granny we try to do dinner at 4. Who eats dinner at 4?! After 4pm the sundowning starts and she’s truly like a broken record and her brain just keeps skipping every 5 seconds. I despise knowing the time change is coming soon and with every “fall back” it’s like she starts a new chapter and each year it gets harder because she absolutely has no concept of Why everything changed.

As someone who cared for my Mother who had dementia ( lost her last year) please don’t talk about her like she isn’t sitting there😢 Talk with her which I know isn’t easy but believe me she hears you all and I feel like it minimizes their feelings when we speak about them while they are present. Prayers for you all❤
