I've been struggling with pain for 3 years. I have DDD but also been suffering with shoulder pain, neck pain, numbness in my face and my mouth, wake in the night with pain around my lungs and more recently pain in my knuckles that travels up my fingers and into my wrist. I'm struggling to get anywhere with it, how can I push to be referred as my physio believes I could have an autoimmune disease but the doctors just seem to brush it off

Can you Lu share what can help with fatigue? I walk most days but have to force myself to do it. So tired all the time. I now sleep 10-12 hours a day and have to force myself to get out of bed. Told Dr and was just told it is part of the disease.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with RA. I’m waiting for my appointment to go through meds. I’ve heard lots of positives and horror stories. I’m scared. But I want to know what can I do to help myself whilst on the meds, a Mediterranean diet, Pilates, drinking planet of water, taking vitamins and supplements…..

I was diagnosed earlier on this year. RA runs through the family, so could be genetic but I'm doing my own research and think it was triggered due to perimenopause. I'm interested to know the age of when the ladies on here got diagnosed. Methotrexate isn't working for me and waiting for education appointment for sulfasalazine to take along side. Its seems such a long wait until the doctors find the right medication. I was told it could take up to 18 months for an improvement 😭😭😭

Can you tell me why most meds I’ve tried haven’t controlled my RA my consultant now running out of meds idea , also I get steroid Injections some work some don’t why is that ?

I am anemic and was told my ferritin is 7. I also was told I have Fibromyalgia. Tired very easily, my legs have been hurting for a month now so much. It has always hurt so much to touch the bottom part of them. They feel kinda like fat at the bottom and my out side of ankle swollen. Anyone else?
