focusing specifically on sectioning your hair but there's 4 sections on each side of your head and 6 sections in the back, on the sides there's 1. lower sections are below and in front of ear, the same but above ear, and then the other 2 sections are just above and below ear but behind the ear. the back is where it gets tricky, there's 3 layers of sections with one set of sections being on one side of your head and the other set on the other side, if any of these needs clarification pls lmk and also this is self taught so

im cis but i wasnt taught either, i just watched so many youtube videos and copied other girls hairstyles. to part ur hair use a comb or long nails not a regular hairbrush! there are lots of haircare videos and haircut tutorials on yt :)

It’s so true. Fortunately my beautician taught me some and I have a best friend who has been immensely helpful. I feel the sectioning though. I cannot do that and I need to to use some curlers and to learn to braid my hair.
