There’s nothing wrong at all with seeking more knowledge. In fact, the more languages we master, the wider our opportunities — whether in work, relationships, or understanding other cultures.
Language is just a tool, not the measure of identity. If someone is fluent in English, Arabic, Japanese, or any other language, that does not make them “less Malaysian.” Our identity remains tied to our roots, culture, values, and sense of self.
Malaysians who are multilingual actually have an advantage: we can be a bridge between nations, represent Malaysia internationally, and still remain proud of our own language and culture.
