@ke.ne.su: Let’s try out a picture book gouache and ink technique i learned this weekend at Matthew Forsythe’s Picture book workshop at Gallery Nucleus. It uses gouache and ink to paint new scenes. Things that i forgot to mention is that if you use less types of ink, you’ll get a tighter and more unified palette which could be very cool. I just wanred to try this out immediately with my fountain pen inks to see if this trick could work! anyways I dont know if this tutorial does matthew justice (he does a bunch of other things like using pencil crayon for the base etc but I can go over that later in my notes).
