🇧🇦🎙️ :
As Muslims, we are taught by the Qur’an to stand firm for justice, but not to let our anger push us into disrespect or cruelty. When I see people mocking Charlie Kirk after his death, I understand the frustration, he supported Zionism, ignored the starvation of Gaza, and even insulted Islam by calling it a religion of the sword. But the Qur’an reminds us: “Do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.” (Qur’an 5:8). That means even when someone opposed Islam or denied our pain, we still have to rise above bitterness. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forgave even those who directly harmed him, and he never mocked his enemies after they passed away. So while I will continue to condemn Zionism, speak up for Gaza, and correct lies about Islam, I won’t celebrate or disrespect someone’s death. Instead, I’ll focus my energy on defending truth and standing with the oppressed, while keeping my dignity as a Muslim intact.
