So many people told me that Maddys hand flapping was NOT an early sign of autism… but here she is at 1 and still happy flapping at 3! Hand flapping was diagnostic criteria for her diagnosis… it fell under restricted/repetitive behaviors. She wasnt diagnosed soley on hand flapping.
