My 1st round of Ivf was like Sophie. They retrieved 19 eggs but only 4 were mature enough for icsi & only 2 made it to healthy enough embryos to use. Unfortunately they didn’t stick. The 2nd round my dr adjusted my meds to help with quality over quantity. That they only got 5 eggs, 4 were able to be icsi’d, 2 were frozen & 2 were used… resulting in healthy twin boys.
