So because raccoons are lower animals, I completely understand not hating it for eating your chickens. However, humans are not lower animals. We have much higher levels of intelligence and we have the ability to form communities unlike any other animal on this planet. With those communities, should come the safeguards inherently. We should, as a species, be beyond hating others for their beliefs or skin color and we should support each other, SO LONG AS WE DO NO HARM TO OTHERS THAT AREN'T HURTING ANYONE." I have absolutely zero empathy for Charlie Kirk as he actively sought the destruction of others simply because he didn't like them. He used his influence over millions to spread hate, misogyny, racism, sexism, ableism, etc. The modern human society should save no room for people like that and if they want to live their life guided by hate, they should form their own colony as far from civilized humans as possible so they can let their ideals guide their lives to ruin instead of ruining it for the majority of people.

See the racoon was acting out of natural instinct, not hatred towards your chickens. I will mourn a racoon because it doesn't know any better, it doesn't understand the concept of pets and domesticated animals. I will not mourn nor give sympathy to a man who wished for my death daily.

While I feel you're close, you still don't quite get it. Charlie did nothing to hurt anyone. He created no laws, no policy, and didn't hurt anyone else, but their feelings. His only goal was to have an open dialog with people he doesn't agree with, and come to an understanding, and maybe win them over. In Charlie's thinking, that excersize was the only thing keeping both sides from all out violence. He wasn't wrong, now that he's gone, I worry for our nation.

This. My dog recently found a racoon. It was a motionless standoff. However, a family cat threw hands 1st and the dog defended the cat. The outcome was sad 😔 and we're currently under quarantine. I've rescued racoon in the past, this was /is hard to handle. 😳

I completely understand this point of view and I certainly am sad someone passed in the situation this is eluding to, but most are more upset about the people and governments reaction to this situation rather than bringing the same energy when minorities and less “important” people and groups pass. No one should be put through that, but all lives should be just as important.
