@metrouk: TikTok has announced it will remove videos shared on the popular social media platform showing close-up footage of the moment Kirk was fatally shot. Following the shooting, TikTok suggested searches to users including ‘actual incident footage’ and ‘raw video footage’. Those terms will be removed as well. ‘These horrific violent acts have no place in our society. We remain committed to proactively enforcing our Community Guidelines and have implemented additional safeguards to prevent people from unexpectedly viewing footage that violates our rules,’ stated TikTok spokesperson Jamie Favazza on Thursday.
