the malays in Malaysia cannot convert to Christianity only the non Muslims have to convert to Islam if they want to marry a Muslim person in Malaysia. other countries may be allowed but not here in Malaysia. that's why my mum was so particular and strict and she prays hard so that me and my siblings will only marry our own Catholic people. she worry if my younger siblings fall in love and marry a Muslim then they will need to convert, that's why parents are concerned bout the children who they marry one day.
