If I remember correctly, in the novel, Elizabeth never hated Ludovica. What she hated was the Emperor directly. She never wanted to marry or be an empress.

I feel so bad for the wives/mothers in this manhwa. Now one thing I will never understand is why most of this fandom likes to force hate on Lodovika when they don't even know anything about her properly, people see the character through other people's POVs and think that what is said is 100% true 😒 Finally, I want to add how beautiful Elisabeth is, the Emperor does not deserve her 🗣

Didn’t the emperor and her kiss in one chapter but it didn’t show it it just insinuated it 🤔 regardless the emperor doesn’t deserve her, he wants to say that she’s the “true empress” but we all know he would still be with Ludovika if she was still alive. That’s why he has a soft spot for Shuli and wishes his son looked more like Ludovika 🙄
