I going from a 1 hour lunch to a new job with 30 minute lunch be about to get off 30 earlier is a plus and I'm now 20 minutes from home so is a win-win for me

If I were hourly I would want no lunch. Just give me the 2 paid 15 minute breaks and let me go home after 8 hours.
