That’s why my players have to jump through hurdles to unlock the nether and it’s a collective thing when everyone’s ready. Otherwise there are those who beat the game and then those who haven’t gone above iron tools/armor

this is how I make it last. the moment the dopamine in the base fades, put everything in your inventory up and grab food. run as FAR as you can I usually travel at least 10-15,000 blocks in one or both X and Y. start a new base there and boom you have lore, a starting base for those on the server, and have reset your imagination. rinse and repeat i have 2000 in game days on the same world and MASIVE bases scattered around like a civilization.
