18wks preg currently and recently found out that the MEDICAL company I work for gives us up to 12 weeks of job security (which is nice) and that’s it. It is UNPAID leave!!! They don’t even call it maternity leave. I have to use whatever pto I have in order to be paid. Which in turn means I will get to have only 2.5 weeks off after having my baby because in this economy, who can afford to be off work without pay??!!

My breeder wouldn’t even release her puppies under 11 weeks. She was adamant that they needed that much time with their mother.

I was a private scrub tech for a surgeon and I only got 4 weeks at a company of 95% women! Actually never mind, I’ll just stay home after my 4 weeks is up 🙄
