1 put option at $750 strike requires $75000 dollars as collateral. Most people don’t even have that much money and it’s just for one META contract.

Let’s say you get assigned a CSP at $100 strike price but with the premium the cost basis is $98. Does the cost basis matter for anything other than tax purposes?
