My kitten during its first and second car ride 🐈⬛😴 but my older cat during its first car ride meow meow…..I saId MEOW! I moved so their first car ride was at the same time, my kitten was chill the whole time but my old cat would not stop meowing for over 30 minutes straight.

my cat is much better with a car ride when she can see outside, so i put her a bit higher that she can see the road and not just the inside of the car, driving with het for 4ish hours

Have you tried him in the car without a carrier? Just hook him up with a harness to a seatbelt. That made a huge difference with my boy! No more meowing or stressing.

My little Onyx absolutely HATES the car ride too. Loves the carrier and will willingly jump in it and doesn’t mind the car but as soon as it starts moving that’s it, she hates it with a passion.

Something I tried that worked with my two kitties, let them "loose" in the car, I normally have them on a harness attached to the headrest of my car with a semi flexible leash and they noronally use that leeway to find a aomfortable spot (like my lap) and sleep Calms them alot when they aren't limited ro a cage
