@Bee Yes, churches can have persecution and legalism. But don’t let that pull you away from God. People will fail, but His truth doesn’t. I’m not perfect, but I pray this encourages someone to hold on to their faith.

Hear what you’re saying, but she also has a point. Look how many Christians say they are Christians but their lifestyle contradicts everything the Bible says. God says…you will know them by their fruit. How many Christian’s refuse to forgive? How many Christians still participate in sexual immorality? How many Christians are hateful and judgemental? How many are joyless and complain? How many don’t have peace? How many gossip? So my point here is I see both sides. There’s a lot of hypocrisy that turns non believers off. As Christians, we have to be the light of the world. Spiritual growth comes from repentance and acknowledging that we are sinners who have sinned against God and recognize our need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit guides, convicts, helps and teaches us. That’s how we grow spiritually. Just my thoughts…not trying to offend or attack but wanted to see if I could hopefully drive a point home on what I think she is trying to say. 😊

I truly appreciate your feedback. I have a lot of respect for you as a creator and a person. I’m currently going through church hurt myself. It makes it a little hard when the person running the churches, family, and choosing to inflict pain on you seeing how they act outside of the pool pit versus when they’re preachingif none of this makes sense I’m using talk to text cause I’m having to DoorDash pretty much 24 hours straight because I’m being forced out of my tiny house from said preacher
