There is no other plans this is it and there’s no dating in the word . A man shows his love by sacrificing, protecting, and leading as Christ does for the Church. Ephesians 5:25 commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, laying down His life for her. When a man follows this calling—living in honor, provision, and godly leadership—he is walking in God’s design and is made perfect, because love is perfected in obedience (1 John 2:5). This perfection is not by his own strength, but through living out the Word by action, showing Christ’s love in his marriage. In this way, he reflects God’s covenant design of man as the head, guiding in love and righteousness.
In the same way, a woman shows her love by submitting and respecting her husband as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22–24). When she follows the same path as her husband’s leadership and submits with faith like Sarah did with Abraham, calling him lord (1 Peter 3:5–6), she too is made perfect. This is her act of glory to God—demonstrating holiness through her obedience. Proverbs says a wife is the crown of her husband (Proverbs 12:4), and in her submission she becomes the visible glory of God in the household. Together, they fulfill Genesis 2:24, becoming one flesh in unity, where his sacrificial love and her faithful submission display the full order, beauty, and glory of God’s covenant.
This is how we stay away from sin—by knowing God’s love and walking in Christ. This is what we must teach both men and women so they can enter into a true godly covenant. A man’s crown is his wife, and she shows her love by fully submitting as unto the Lord, so deeply that she follows the example of Sarah in 1 Peter 3:5–6, honoring her husband in obedience. In this, she reflects God’s glory through her submission and becomes her husband’s crown. This unity is how we create holy offspring, just as God desired from the very beginning“For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him” (Ephesians 1:4) and “What was the one God seeking? Godly offspring” (Malachi 2:15).
