For anybody wondering, the true reason everyone finds this racist is because they made this video is to advertise their jayvik figurine. They had Viktor run over Mel to attract the more hateful side of jayvik shippers. This had a whole ship war and everything, and a lot of jayvik fans were starting to be a little bit racist about Mel. I think it’s mostly died down, but Youtooz is trying to bring it back to profit off of. So whether they knew this could trigger a certain side of the arcane fandom or not, they made Mel an even easier target for racists who already hated her. That’s why everyone finds this racist.
