Just know that all these people using his quotes against him are only saying the smallest bit of what he actually said. and he never said people should be shot. He was loving and kind and generous. He loved God, his family and this country. He showed sympathy and compassion to all he came in contact with.

The comments I've seen are beyond appalling. He was a nice and gentle man. He had 2 kids and a wife who loved him. I dont agree with gun violence and he did not deserve this.

Charlie SAID that SYMPATHY is better than Empathy because empathy means we ARE FEELING what the other person feels and that's impossible. we can't feel what others feel, but we can have SYMPATHY. so TELL THE WHOLE STORY.

I see people are taking only small parts of what he’s said and using it as a negative against him. I see the same thing with him not believing in empathy. When he really went on to say that empathy is more self serving, and that he’d rather people have compassion instead because it’s more embracing. He has never promoted violence and only had civil debates

Everyone whether right or left should have sympathy for a man who was assasinated FOR SPEAKING! He didn't hurt anyone he just SPOKE - Like him or not, we ALL used to beleive in free speech without persicution and we should all be thinking this is NOT what we are about
