The thing is, it’s always been the chiseled faces and slender waists in saris and I always imagined what it would feel like to see someone like me on screen. I decided to direct it myself and lemme just say those “romanticize your life” style lead actress Desi movie intros will literally make you obsessed with yourself and make you feel like THAT girl but like so ethereal. I directed this all myself at the farmhous in my mom’s village and this is one of my very early edits. As someone who always had a vision and eye for things but was scared to execute bc I kept telling myself I suck at editing, this one made me really proud of myself.
