I think it really depends on the kind of relationship and the weight of the trust that gets broken. Some things might be forgivable with time, but others leave scars too deep to heal. For instance, I don’t care how small the act might seem, if someone cheats me, that’s a line I can never cross back over. The disrespect, the betrayal, the emotional wreckage it causes…
it’s not just a mistake, it’s a wound that never truly closes. I mean how long have they been doing it l, ans how many times for those times you never caught them
And the truth is, once that trust is shattered, you stop looking at the person the same way. Even if they apologize, even if they beg, something inside you keeps whispering, they’re capable of doing it again. That constant fear becomes heavier than the love itself.
