I utilize my bathtub a lot. I also go to bed really early sometimes and just vibe in the bedroom for a couple of hours before actually going to sleep. Those are signs to my son and husband that I’ve reached my limit. Speaking with your partner and asking them for ideas on how to navigate it without hurting their feelings. Also reading books in the same room together. He’s doing his thing and I’m doing mine but we’re not separated.

Send him to run silly little errands bc he needs to get out of the house and not be chatty around me 😅 Also give him projects. Fun creative projects but also honey-do organizing projects. 😂

Schedule it. Literally block off time on the calendar. I didn't fall in love with an extrovert but I'm a mother and these babies want every minute of me. As other mothers have said, "I don't need "me time" that even means my mental attention
