I have trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, chronic migraine, fibromyalgia and a million other things wrong with me. I’ve seen multiple pain specialists and I’m yet to make progress (none have ever offered me any pain relief even though my pain never drops below 8). It’s so hard to keep waking up every day knowing the pain won’t go away. 💔

100% agree with you, once I got proper pain management & a treatment plan to control my inflammation my will to live & want to actually have a future changed drastically

The pain is so bad that the only reason Im still here after being bed bound 90% of the time for the past decade is my dog. Hes a doxie, so they form an intense bond with one person. Its been just the two of us since 2019, and I know he wouldn't be able to handle it if I was gone. I am at the end of my rope. I made the mistake of reading a thread on reddit from physicians talking about how much they hate chronic pain patients. (I was seeing if anyone had recommendations for pain docs in my area) I knew it already, but it still stung seeing so many of them openly admit it. And now with this current administration, im struggling to find any reasons to actually stick around

4 different pain management doctors telling me i’m too complex. the only doctors i can go to for my condition are across the country. bedridden, body slowly deteriorating, and struggling.

it’s so crazy to me that i and many others didn’t get sent to a pain team or given resources immediately it took me years and i had seizures from all of my symptoms before i actually got treated for my pain alone

THIS. I have had a broken back since I was 14. Chronic pain has taken my happiness away. I will never know a day without pain. I’ve had 12 surgeries since I was 14 and I’m turning 22. I hate being in so much pain but nothing helps

i’m always in some pain. there’s ups and downs, but i’m never lower than a 2 on the pain scale. the knowledge that it’ll be like this for the rest of my life is really hard to cope with. i’m only 26, im supposed to have the rest of my life to look forward to.

The pain management clinic said go to obgyn or primary care but they said go to pain management so I just end up going to the ER when I’m really sick and they say go anywhere but here.. so I have no where to go? I’m so tired and it feels so hopeless. Yes, thank you for saying this! I totally agree!
