I think he did because he knew he was in danger and proceeded anyway. Him moving his ring was a sign to his security. He knew what he was doing, good and faithful servant.

I felt this exact same way after it happened and I was questioning God why he would let it happen. I felt in my Spirit God was say. It needed to and Charlie would have agreed to it. I think this is what it means when it says God knows best. He didn't design it or cause it to happen but He allowed it so He could us the good that would come out of it.

I FULLY agree with that statement. I told my husband, Erika prepared herself everyday when Charlie walked out of their front door that he may never come back.

My hisband and I are atheists, and in light of this he told me yesterday that if I changed my mind and decided to go to church he would go with me. And to know that even though that’s not my path in life and not what I believe that no matter what I always have a support system and someone in my corner and I could have cried. And that’s not something I ever thought I’d hear him say. I wouldn’t have expected judgement if had chosen the church but I didn’t expect that he would offer to walk every step of the way with me even if he didn’t walk the same path. And it made me love him more if it was possible. And I think that’s why I can wholeheartedly agree to this statement. 💚🖤
