As an optometrist, I want to clarify this. Not wearing glasses doesn’t automatically cause a lazy eye. Amblyopia (lazy eye) only develops if astigmatism is significant enough that the brain can’t form fine-tuned visual connections during childhood, leaving baseline vision blurry

I take my glasses on and off on and off on and off,,, and I have both astigmatism and mysopia or wtv it’s called AND I’m addicted to my phone and to top it all off I CAN ONLY SEE THE E ON THE EYE EXAM
