Growing up brown in mostly white spaces, moments like my mama teaching my class about piñatas and papel picado remind me how proud I am to be Mexican. Even before I could grasp it and understand the importance of it, our culture was being shared and celebrated 🇲🇽✨

im a child development major and its things like this that they’re trying to bring back!! they want parents to introduce their cultures to other children to show diversity, but sadly a lot of places did not make their environment diverse, which has caused a lot of parents to retract☹
