@burchbearholisticcare: My POTS symptoms required me to stop going to the gym.. but now that I’ve reversed those issues, it’s time to get back at it! Remember, you have been created to heal. Our bodies are HEALING MACHINES! However, healing isn’t linear…. There will be ups, downs and sometimes sideways and as much as taking a break from the gym felt like a step in the wrong direction, it wasn’t. My body needed time to heal away from lifting weights first while I also got my environmental exposures under control. No amount of lifting weights or tearing down muscle would’ve helped me do that.
