Did that hike twice. Once during winter when no one was there and once in July. It sucked both times. Seriously overrated. Trail was mashed to hell. No recovery in winter. Still thrashed! I was hyped but left disappointed both times.

Absolutely LOVED this hike! Walked through a herd of elk, then saw a massive bull on the way back through the redwoods.

Yep concur 🤩 one of our favorites … the woods feel so ancient .. i would not have been surprised if dinosaurs started wandering through
