for those that don't know with the adjustment they also changed the club and activity schedules that happened during lunch and the switch made some clubs completely inaccessible due to a lack of after school supervising adults so the students are fighting to go back to one lunch to have their activities and club schedules fixed not necessarily because they don't like having the early lunch or multiple lunches they just want to see friends and do clubs.

This is such a nonissue 😂 my middle school had 3 lunches and my high school had 4. It just makes more sense when there's too many kids to comfortably fit into 1 cafeteria and have enough time to line up, get their food, then sit and eat it.

2 lunches is not bad 😂 it’s hard to feed everyone and have room for everyone to feed in 1 lunch I mean lines are gonna be super long and the cafeteria will be packed for 1 lunch and they will need more labor to help out with such a busy lunch

my high-school had 3 lunches. what's the issue? I mean, did I enjoy eating my lunch at 1030 in the morning? no lol but I can't say it was something I'd protest

Lmao do yall just hate young people? Or is cause they’re from LiBrUL sEAtTle? These kids have a problem in their own community and sre making their voices heard. I hope they have an impact and see they can continue to do this in their lives on many topics of importance.

Before you comment about what things were like for YOU this change was made without community feedback TWO WEEKS into the school year. Regardless of the policy, that is an UNACCEPTABLE way to run a large organization like a school district. It’s embarrassing and we should be supporting the students.

Yall dont know 😭 We're all tired of sps acting like having every school do the same thing is "equity". Only a few schools needed these two lunches, not every single one. This will quite literally ruin most existing lunch clubs and having every club after school or closed off from half the school is not the way

I don’t have a problem with them protesting, but I don’t get it. I grew up south sound and my school had three lunches. If you played a sport you would stop by your club and you made it work. I just don’t understand why this is a major issue now …
