Ok question… on these inspections where it’s a risk to not only the potential buyer but the current owner. Do you let the current owner know how unsafe their home is?

I saw the bricks immediately and knew it wasnt good. I used to live in an older place and it needed so much work done to it my landlords sold it and got it back many times that should’ve been a red flag. I can see the bowing too almost immediately.

I'm starting to believe home inspectors need to be mandated reporters. Some of these houses are worse than the ones I've seen condemned

So do you report this as uninhabitable and dangerous? What’s the protocol over the pond. In the uk that’s condemned and an order put on it to have the people moved out before they get squished

How did someone even get to the point of wanting an inspection? I’d see that and wouldn’t even put in an offer and I’d fire my agent for even showing me this house.

My mom noticed this happening on her house, she called her friend a master contractor he was like yep, we're gonna need to fix that. It took a month and 5 permits to get it fixed. But it got fixed.
