I learned that I will never get the response I need from my father. He doesn’t have the capacity to take accountability and doesn’t have an understanding that what happened caused sm pain but unfortunately I’ve tried many times to make him understand me but it’s just a waste of time. I don’t try anymore.

some parents don't know. I'm just saying that from personal experience. I've asked my mom the tough questions. ask your parents why weren't you there? why did you do this? make them accountable or get some answers. might not get any answers but a talk with a parent actually helps alot

I apologize to my boys all the time. I'm not perfect I'm also living my first life and had an absent mom and father as well. I give them everything I can and it's so hard doing it by yourself. But they know mom will always be there.
