@_sofiabennani: What people think being an elite athlete looks like vs what it really is 🫣 I get asked all the time if the key to improving is heavy weights and high skill movements. The truth? Those have their place, but not every day, not every week 🤷♀️ Most of an athlete’s training is actually made up of simple, controlled movements at low intensity. Only at specific points in the season, we would load heavier or add higher skill work, but it wouldn’t last much (those are the fun phases 😉) I wanted to make this video cuz so many people think I spend my days doing RMUs and max lifts 24/7 😂 Reality check, I don’t 🤷♀️ Sure, it looks cool on camera, but real progress comes from the “boring” stuff… light, repetitive work that follows a steady progression.
