@mybestvintagelifepodcast: Sometimes when you receive “memory” notifications, it can be a pleasant reminder of how far you have come. Just some photos of me as a reseller with my old business, Other People’s Trash. I would sell on my front porch during the Mushroom Festival (I used to live in the 🍄 capital of the world), in my living room, and would pop-up anywhere I could. I was always trying to organize pop-ups but back then nobody really had any interest. “Vintage?” “A what?” I often felt discouraged by this but now I can just smile and say I was light years ahead of everyone else. I was doing all of this while working full-time mind you. I needed the extra money to pay off my students loans faster, and I did that in six years. So to anyone out there working full or part time AND doing your vintage thing- I’ve been there and I know the exhaustion and the exhilaration.
