it's cute, sure..but at 2am? idk man. I'm a dad and couldn't imagine 1 - my kid being up at that time, and 2 - sending them alone...again at 2am...in a hotel, to get something. telling them to order their own food or give money to the cashier is one thing, this seems a very drastic difference. maybe even if it wasn't 2am, I'd be a little more okay with it?

Ok, so actually a lot of people are saying the mom should have used toilet paper or kept track better. But she could have been having a miscarriage or even just an extreme period. I've had many extreme periods that I had to deal with in the middle of the night, and often I have to yell my mom awake (while I'm still on the toilet) at night for assistance. With that in mind and the amount of blood, pain and possibility of passing out, I think this was her last resort for help

As a waitress in the US, I love a polite kid who they've obviously taught or are teaching how to interact politely and confidently. If they're shy but at least polite, that's fine too. Same with less polite but at least confident and being corrected. But the kids who are just breaking everything, screaming, running everywhere, etc? Tempted to hand them some plan b coupons.

People tend to forget that kids are really just tiny humans and they're learning how to navigate the world, and they're learning how to interact with people

My kiddo loves to do things on their own and will gladly ask employees questions! It’s so adorable! 🥰🥰🥰 Sometimes, kiddo gets a bit shy, though, and then I‘ll ask or order instead.

And like, sometimes cramps can be debilitating. I can't move sometimes when it hits 😭 Not a great solution, but the kids were so polite ya can't be mad ❤

Yeah absolutely not toilet roll would absolutely work for 5 minutes to go downstairs and get the pads, and if rolled up toilet roll won't even last 5 minutes go to the Dr

My 13yr old has definitely heard me say the eff bomb a few 100 thousand times 😆 I allow them to cuss but they don’t (unless they are frustrated) because it’s not a novelty at all. I love sentence enhancers and encourage everyone to use them! ❤

See, I dont hate kids- I'm just awkward around them until they're old enough to hold a conversation or with permissiom of the adult that has them.

I LOVE when kids do stuff like this! I think its so cute and its important they learn how to understand the world. like kids buying their own treats or when I've had to counsel a kid on their medication because THEY had the questions for me or wanted to pick it up themselves

I take my kids to the farmers market and they conduct their own commerce. The vendors are very kind, and often encourage them to haggle 😂 they are not good at haggling

when I was little we were on a short road trip (2h) and we were at a pit stop. my mom made me get out and get a fountain pop. she gave me money, I went in, I came out and gave her the change. she then screamed at me because it was the incorrect amount of change.

i worked at Macy's for a hot minute during Christmastime. A little boy came up to me to ask something and his mom came up behind him to interrupt and I said "excuse me ma'am I will be right with you I'm with a customer" and he proceeded to ask where the fire trucks were. i hated that gd job but that was the best moment!
