This is so incredibly said, and I am so sorry for his friends and family. If the coroner said no breaks, then no breaks, though it would probably behoove him to double check. Depending on the cause of death it might factor. Also, how would friends and family know?

Black police chief. Black coroner. Both have said no reason to suspect foul play. For what its worth, not too far away a white guy was also found hanging in a tree near a casino on the same day. I notice that wasn't mentioned.
