it was an uphill battle. Korra and Asami held hands, so that Ruby and Sapphire could fuse, so that Luz and amity could kiss. There is still much to do. male gay characters still largely dont exist in children's media, despite how common they are.

When my husband and I were long distance we watched SU together. I am Sapphire, he is Ruby. We have our respective stones on our engagement rings and a hidden garnet inside our wedding bands. Thank you for everything 💕
