This works. You have to skip all the job boards.. accept to use them to notify you that a position is available. After that the direct route is the optimum way.

Hiring manager/talent team….They do not put phone numbers on their Linkdeln. 90% of them dont even put their email. At most you can message them with Linkdeln pro..or “connect” and send a small message but doubt many read them.

what if it’s a product designer role, but the recruiter has their phone number in the listing, although not mentioning anything else about it (whether it’s okay to call or not)

Absolutely. Human contact is one great way out of this mess. AI instant apply is generally crap, and applying online is a gamble. I’d say entrepreneurship is the other way.
