I have this on vinyl and cassette brilliant album one of my favorites. inspired so much of the music later on in the 80s and 90s even today the samples from their songs can still be heard 😁🙏

People's memories get mangled over Kraftwerk when Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre were equal pioneers in the genre. Vangelis' stuff with FR David is waaaay ahead of its time

Kraftwerk are a fantastic group of men playing with Syntherziers on an individual basis and became a world beater, I think Gary Numan & Tubeway Army played a bigger role in expanding synth music with also John Foxx

In 1978 in our school follies in middle of nowhere south Arkansas I saw a freshman student named Hanky Jeffcoats do the first robot I had ever seen to KW we are the robots. I bought the album immediately and soon after I heard their influence everywhere. Def influential group

A lot of BIG artists have sampled Kraftwerk tracks over the years. New Order's "Blue Monday" contains a sample from "Uranium" "What Time is Love" by The KLF has a sample from "Home Computer" and The Chemical Brothers used a sample from "Ohm sweet Ohm" on "Leave Home" ❤️❤
