The book based off the movie is actually so good- it plays with with the homoerotic themes in the movie so much- like at one point, Cain and Herbert were running ti the hospital to save Megan and this cop that’s been questioning them tries to stop them since they’re covered in blood and Cain says “I have AIDS, my partner and I need to go to the hospital” AND IT WORKS
