Getting new windows made our house soo much brighter. we have 300m long windows but there was brick separating them into 3 for aesthetics. removed the brick, put in a lintle the last owner should have put in when they removed the wooden windows and replaved ith PVC then repointed the brick drop caused by the last PVC windows. 7k worth spending! luckily the repainting didn't cost a lot thanks to a family bricky doing it for the cost of material that saved us a LOT!!

See if you can get pull down screens put in! When we lived in Suffolk we were so excited to move onto the USAF base because those windows had pull down screens and none of our off base houses had screens 🤣
