Yes when they get old the plastic breaks. I replace them also on my car I scanned them and 3d printed them

What material do you usually print them abs pc nylon? And do you have printed anything for inside the engine bay. I had printed a year ago a cold air intake pipe for the e36 because i want a weird shape and the pc (polycarbonate) is still intact.

I use it a lot too in the shop, but using the right materials for cars is important. and dry the filament.
