Technically I believe that’s a buckler , shield has a handle you have to hold . Buckler buckles to your arm leaving your hand free

I want these in d&d! Maybe have a plus one to AC and allow for a bonus action daggers worth of damage for an attack. Maybe it adds a d4 to your offhand attack or does a d4 + dex/strength + proficiency as its own attack
